We came to the Herb Market because, in many guidebooks, it was marked "to visit". I'm sorry, but I was expecting something more characteristic: a simple and small covered market! In Rome we have several. We then stopped for a quick snack, in one of the two spaces reserved for catering. The place appears a bit confusing with "different boxes", but without a precise diversification. The dishes we tasted were of average quantity and quality. The service was quite "rough". Prices a little high, in relation to the quality of both the food and the location.

Located inside one of the oldest markets in Bologna founded in 1910. quick service and the guy was very helpful and with a smile. I liked what I got! As for the bill, I expected slightly less! P.S for those who don't know, if you order baked potatoes the people of Bologna use new ones!!!

Carino come ambiente, però quando si arriva al mercato delle erbe (dove il locale si trova)ci sono i ragazzi a cui chiedere che ti fanno accomodare e poi non sai mai in quale locale ti sei seduto (dato che poi all’interno del mercato ci sono tanti locali). Sicuramente non ho apprezzato il fatto che non avevano menù (io devo vedere i prezzi quando ordino da mangiare), infatti per due piatti di tortellini una bottiglia d’acqua e una birra abbiamo pagato 42,00€, un tantino esagerato. I tortellini comunque erano buoni ma la quantità non è eccessiva. È molto confusionario soprattutto per chi non conosce il posto e viene fatto accomodare fuori nel momento in cui decide di andare a pagare direttamente in cassa, buona fortuna!

RISTORANTE VICTORIA

12/11/2023: We're here with a group tour and the director sent this to this restaurant which was a few blocks away from where we were staying from the hotel. The place is charming they had a table set up for us in the back where it wasn't too noisy. It was a set menu which is good because the 28 people it's kind of hard to cook for all 28 at the same time. The food was prepared for us, and it was very good we all enjoyed it we had a good time a lot of wine and a lot of fun it's a nice restaurant and I would recommend it. So, if your town trying to find the Victoria restaurant and stop and have a nice dinner or lunch.
10/11/2023: Ambiente un po datato, ma sulla cucina niente da discutere indubbiamente si mangia bene. Peccato che ci siamo imbattute in cameriere poco cortese. Che a quanto pare mi spiace per lui capiva poco di vini. E che è stato scortese per l'intera cena. Capisco che la sera uno sia alla fine di una giornata pesante e che l'età avanzata non sia di aiuto ma davvero abbiamo assistito a delle scene ci hanno sconcertate. Sicuramente eviterò questo locale alle prossime tappe a Bologna.

24/03/2024: I sat by chance because most of the shops were full. It was a pleasant surprise. Daria was very kind and willing to help me order. The atmosphere was great as I sat outside, in an alley where most of the tables were. The lasagnas are wonderful, as is the dessert. The prices are normal.
04/03/2024: Excellent to visit, if you want good wine and this is where you find it
