One of the few restaurants to recommend in Venice, a stone's throw from the Jewish Ghetto.
Good quality food (and fish), fairly generous portions and honest prices considering the context.
Beautiful garden overlooking the canal but protected by a splendid pergola which also isolates it from the passage of people. Quick and kind service. The only flaw - but not their fault - being near a bridge there is a continuous honking of vaporettos signaling their arrival by having to move to the center of the canal to cross the bridge.
Overall it turned out to be a great choice.

Very happy to have had the fortune of dining in this special place, you can breathe in the scent of Venetian tradition, a beautiful garden, qualified staff and special dishes. We will certainly return often!!!!

Always a guarantee, lovely place, with a charming garden overlooking the canal, very well prepared and high quality traditional dishes, very helpful staff, the owner and his wife make you feel at home, I highly recommend it. We will return at any opportunity!

the host is kind, professional and friendly. a good appetizer, an excellent risotto of carletti and prawns and a good fillet of sea bass with potatoes and vegetables, all bathed in excellent organic garganega. I don't think the external wisteria pergola overlooking the Cannaregio canal has many equals in the historic centre

Pranzo veloce prima di prendere il treno. Ricco il menù con in aggiunta alcune proposte del giorno. Gustati gnocchi al sugo e tagliatelle con erbette rosse e sugo di anatra e un piatto di verdure cotte accompagnate da un calice di vino. Ambiente caldo e accogliente e oste gentile e premuroso. Prezzi nella media di Venezia ma alta la qualità del cibo

Non arrivano ai 5 pallini per errori banali... Andiamo dall'inizio.. Locale accogliente, cena ottima, la castradina e la guanciotta ottimi piatti, anche il pesce di buona qualità... Però se nella guanciotta trovo in pelo lungo chiaramente umano meglio ammettere l'errore piuttosto che dire "è del maiale"... Lo chef che viene in sala, un tipico Veneto, simpatico e bevitore, con barba lunga e capello in aria... Il sospetto viene che il pelo lungo fosse umano. Peccato non aver nemmeno rimediato con una grappa finale o um piccolo sconto... Però dico... Può capitare, ma meglio ammettere l'errore
