Alfredo In Firenze

Visited on the occasion of a 50th anniversary, difficult to evaluate, based on the appearance of the dishes and the little taste, certainly worth taking into consideration. A stone's throw from the centre, from tomorrow connected by tram.

Good and plentiful food at a fair price

Lovely local family run restaurant with fabulous food

We had an excellent dinner here, recommended to us by the apartment owner where we are staying locally. We had the house wine, which was a lovely bottled chianti. We ate the tortellini Alfredo and the pappardelle. This was followed by roast pork and the Tuscan stew with mash as we were hungry after travelling! Overindulged for sure. We are heading back tomorrow before we leave Florence and a repeat visit within a week is the best recommendation I can give. Total bill 80€ for two including a bottle of water and cover charge. We didn’t have room for dessert or coffee!

Sincere place with Tuscan food, friendly, talkative staff.

Welcoming place with polite and knowledgeable staff about the ingredients. The dishes are very reminiscent of Tuscany. Delicious local foods, and if you're lucky you might even find your brains fried. I ate the peposo with mashed potatoes and was very satisfied, while my wife ate a simple pasta with ragù and bechamel which satisfied her very much. Congratulations guys, keep it up

Excellent cuisine. Excellent service. Nice environment.... The memories go back to when I went there with my Aunt Teresa in 2010 and ate some extraordinary first meals... It remains one of the best restaurants in Florence even today. Now a beautiful waitress serves the tables. The owner is also kind and the lady, who has been seen by me for some time now, is very competent and kind and gives her contribution making the place truly typical of this beautiful city. The fish is also excellent, in this case the cod which has a really good, genuine flavor and is well-cooked. We hope that this excellent restaurant will continue to excel among the historic ones in Florence for a long time so that I can include it in my book on the typical restaurants of Florence, Tuscany and why not Italy and Europe, soon to be published.

On Saturday for lunch I went with my partner, my brother and his wife, we ate starters, first courses and Florentine steak and dessert, all really fresh and excellent, the cellar was also excellent with a wide choice of high quality wines, the customer service was also excellent The owner is a really friendly and helpful person who makes you feel like family. I highly recommend it!!! To return when I return to Florence
