After some time we returned and had lunch in this hotel restaurant with a decidedly retro, spartan and genuine atmosphere. They made us sit down and "opened the ball" with the fixed menu, purely Piedmontese, which offered a series of appetizers and, specifically: Russian salad; songino salad with toma, hard-boiled eggs, croutons, beans and cabbage; veal with tuna sauce; albese with gorgonzola; voul a vent; crunchy tomino and speck parcel; smoked tuna. All on average pleasant and good. Afterwards you can choose between 4-5 first courses and we shared (the portions are generous!) a good polenta concia and gnocchi alla drool. Then the second courses of your choice (always between 4-5 options) and our choice fell on a tasty Aosta Valley escalope and a taste of tome (but alternatively wild boar, fillet with green pepper, rabbit hunter style) To end with desserts (home-made, like everything else or almost everything else) and we opted for a delicate tiramisu, a good creme caramel and a fresh maraschino fruit salad. To accompany the meal, water, a bottle of wine (a decent Dolcetto Cantina Il Pozzo) and 3 good coffees for a total of 60 euros for 3 people, a very honest bill. I recommend booking (particularly on weekends) for those looking for essentiality, good (and economical) Piedmontese cuisine... and pay attention to substance and not frills...

Genuine cuisine, friendly and always available staff, varied and abundant menu. It also offers a beautiful view, I highly recommend it, also excellent for quality/price

Owner of a unique kindness. Very varied starters. First and second courses very good. It is typical Piedmontese cuisine. Unfortunately it closes in the winter and reopens in the spring. I advise. I can't comment on the rooms as I only went there for lunch.
