I went to mass at the cathedral and had dinner on the way back to my accommodation. It was really delicious~👍😄

It was the only restaurant close to the accommodation, so I visited late in the day and was greeted kindly. I heard it was lasagna as a recommended dish, so I ate it. They gave it a lot of sauce, and unlike regular lasagna, the noodles were thin like sujebi, but it was soft and delicious to eat. And I love that the price is cheap!! The staff was very friendly and tried their best to communicate in English.

Sober, simple and welcoming place, with comfortable tables and chairs. The staff is friendly and the food is good. The pizzas are very good, cooked right and right thickness. The appetizers are also good as are the first courses. We didn't have dessert but they looked good.

The generosity of the portions is remarkable, especially for those, like me, who appreciate a good, hearty meal. However, the large quantity may pose a challenge for those with a moderate appetite. Overall, "Il Sorriso" stands out for the quality of the food, the efficiency of the service and the attention to customer satisfaction.

07/04/2024: The first post-lockdown outing was for Parente's pizza, their Roman cuisine and game is always excellent
04/04/2024: Characteristic hunting-themed place, small but familiar. I would recommend making the sign a little more visible from the street. Friendly and pleasant staff. Quality food and very tasty. We took a mix of starters, which included coratella with artichokes, tripe, beans in tomato sauce, sausages and bruschetta. Then a mixture of cold cuts, with two plates of fried mixed vegetables. We then tasted several first courses, all very good, from lasagna, to gnocchi, to ravioli and fettuccine with wild boar and hare. For those of us, not yet full, we had a soft and well-cooked steak. We then finished with delicious desserts and were offered some good strawberries with cream. Honest prices!! The only flaw in looking for it is in the quantity of the starters, which should be provided for everyone. Highly recommended!!
