Place with a fabulous view of the Catinaccio, accessible to almost anyone even on foot along the magnificent cycle path. 4 stars and not 5 only because, honestly, they are not the most welcoming and friendly, on the contrary; too bad, because they still have a gold mine on their hands. However, a place that is definitely necessary to visit if you are in Val di Fassa because it is without a doubt the mountain hut with the best view of the entire valley among those at low altitudes and easily reachable on foot by practically anyone, with little to envy even for its beautiful high altitude mountain huts.

A wonderful place, friendly, helpful and welcoming staff (it feels like home). The structure is new, clean and organized, the cuisine is innovative, refined but simple. The visit to the stable was exciting and curious, like tasting their products. A pleasant experience that we will definitely do again. Recommended for families.

A tasteful place surrounded by greenery. Most of the dishes included in the menu are based on raw materials produced by the owners. Well organized terrace, high quality dishes, professional and fast service. Price in line with the quality of the products offered. We tried it, we liked it and we went back the next day....so...I recommend it!!

Dopo una piacevolissima passeggiata lungo il fiume Avisio ci siamo fermati (senza prenotazione) in questa bellissima malga. L'ambiente è molto raffinato e il personale di alto standard. Cibo molto buono. Prezzi un po' sopra media ma adeguati alla tipologia di locale.

We stayed and dined in this beautiful farmhouse. The rooms are very characteristic, like Tyrolean huts, which are really appreciated. Very relaxing to wake up in the morning smelling the scent of hay and the sound of the river that shortly flows, having a fantastic postcard of the mountains and greenery from the balcony in front. It was a great experience milking the cows and visiting the animals there. Good breakfast and excellent dinner! They delighted us every evening with typical dishes, meeting our needs. Beautiful spa with sauna and indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi with panoramic views What can I say... highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

Malga Frattasecca - Val di Pejo

24/11/2023: Nella meravigliosa Val di Peio, sulla strada per il Fontanino, si trova questa splendida malga, che offre pure il servizio di escursione con i lama in mezzo alla natura, esperienza veramente unica. La malga, circondata da un fitto bosco e da grandi prati, ha nella sua area recinti con vari tipi di animali: lama, caprette, conigli, asini e un maiale vietnamita. Oltre allo stupendo spazio esterno con tavoli, il locale ha una bellissima sala tipica in legno con tavoli e sedie stile tirolese con finestre che si affacciano sulla natura. Ci siamo accomodati e abbiamo ordinato il segente menù: canederli allo speck con burro, tagliatelle ai funghi, salsiccia e patate, strudel, panna cotta ai frutti di bosco, vino e caffè: che dire, tutto ottimo e gustoso, cucinato ottimamente con prodotti tipici e freschi. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Il locale è molto curato e pulito, ottimo il servizio e il personale cortese e disponibile. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Grazie! Consigliatissimo, da riprovare sicuramente!!!
06/09/2023: Oggi abbiamo pranzato in questa meravigliosa malga. Ci sono molti animali, la capretta, gli alpaca, i coniglietti e il maialino nero, un posto perfetto per grandi e piccoli. La malga all' interno è molto caratteristica e i piatti sono ottimi. Prezzi nella media. Se si prenota il pranzo alla malga non si deve pagare il biglietto per salire con l' auto. Consigliata.
