Aglio Olio e Pepe In Palermo

This lovely little restaurant was right below our apartment during a stay in Palermo so second night there (it having been closed the day we arrived) and after reading some reviews we decided to try it. My husband ordered steak - we’ve found this can always be hit and miss anywhere - and it was cooked to perfection. I had a pasta dish with aubergine and salted ricotta which was also excellent. After that first meal we went back on a further 5 occasions. We found all the food good - meatballs, Sicilian meat rolls, pasta cacio & Pepe with shrimp (unusual as Italians generally frown on cheese and seafood which I love and this was great). The fries were also really good. Friendly service, well priced. Would definitely recommend.

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo ad un prezzo contenuto. Piatti della tradizione siciliana e non( io ho preso la cacio e pepe, buonissima!) ottimo il servizio e la cortesia del personale. Consigliato
